Biography
Carol A. McHuron President Pacific Resources Education Programs, Inc. San Francisco, California Ms. McHuron has over twenty five years of experience as a manager and consultant in both the public and private sector. For the past several years Ms. McHuron, as the founder and President of PREP, Inc. has been working with organizations to create environments which promote full utilization of their workforce. She has helped design and implement cultural assessments, cultural diversity awareness processes and managerial skill building programs in cross-cultural communication, team building, handling change and transition, cross gender communication, integrating total quality with diversity and conflict management and resolution. The goal of these interventions is to maximize employee performance at all levels in order to meet the changing business needs that organizations face today. She is currently working with several clients on a systems and cultural change approach. She is collaborating with her clients to design the assessment, strategic planning, education, monitoring, measurement and support processes necessary to make a successful long-term change for the organization. Ms. McHuron's previous work experience includes consulting in major school districts nationwide and internationally where she designed and presented seminars on team building, effective communication, conflict management and resolution. As a manager and consultant she has had in-depth experience with multi-cultural communities. Born in Boulder, Colorado and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Ms. McHuron holds a B.A. degree in Spanish. She has a teaching Credential from the University of California at Davis and a Special Education Credential from the University of Houston, Texas. |
